#10 INTERNATIONAL COMMERCE CENTER, HONG KONG – 1588 Feet

This 108 stories tall skyscraper, located in Hong Kong, was completed in 2010. When constructed, it was world’s 4th tallest skyscraper, but now it has slipped to 10th position. This building is home to world’s highest swimming pool and bar on the 108th floor. It also includes 5-star restaurants, observation deck, and shopping mall.

#9 SHANGHAI WORLD FINANCIAL CENTER, CHINA – 1614 Feet

This 101 floor high Shanghai World Financial Center was completed in 2008. It is located in Pudong district in Shanghai. It includes offices, hotel rooms, conference halls, observation decks and shopping malls.This building has an attractive trapezoid aperture towards the peak and also an air controlling feature known as Variable Air Volume (VAV).

#8 TAIPEI 101, TAIWAN – 1667 Feet

The name of this building, Taipei 101, refers to its location and number of floors it possesses. This was once used to be world’s tallest building when it was constructed in 2004. Having the flexibility and resilience to withstand earthquake tremors and typhoon winds, this skyscraper is well known for having a unique blue-green glass curtain tint.

#7 CTF FINANCE CENTER, CHINA – 1739 Feet

CTF Finance Center is located in Guangzhou city in Southern China. This building is home to the fastest elevators in the world, that can move with a speed of 44.7 miles per hour passing through its 111 floors. It includes offices, shopping malls and huge parking spaces including a hotel, on top 16 floors having 251 rooms, which is yet to open.

#6 ONE WORLD TRADE CENTER, UNITED STATES – 1776 Feet

This skyscraper includes 104 stories and is not only among the world’s tallest buildings but also the entire western hemisphere. Its construction was completed in 2014. There are plans to build 9/11 memorial museum and five high-rise office buildings.

#5 LOTTE WORLD TOWER, SOUTH KOREA – 1819 Feet

This super-tall skyscraper, located in Seoul, South Korea, was opened to the public on April, 3rd 2017. It took 5 years to build this marvelous building after 13 years of head scratching planning. It has 6 underground floors and is designed to withstand earthquakes up to a magnitude of 9 under the Richter scale.

#4 PING AN INTERNATIONAL FINANCE CENTER, CHINA – 1965 Feet

Ping An International Finance Center, a megatall skyscraper, is located in Shenzhen, Guangdong province, China. The building contains office, hotel and retail spaces, a conference center and a high-end shopping mall and an observation deck on its two uppermost stories. This 115-storey building features a total of 33 double-deck elevators to access different levels.

#3 MAKKAH ROYAL CLOCK TOWER, SAUDI ARABIA – 1972 Feet

1,972 feet high Royal Clock Tower, located in Mecca, the Holy City of Islam, is the 3rd tallest building in the world. This building includes a clock, having an area of 141 square feet, making it the biggest clock in the world. To signalize the times of prayer it includes 21000 green and white lights which can be seen from 19 miles away.

#2 SHANGHAI TOWER, CHINA – 2073 Feet

This 128-story megatall skyscraper is located in Lujiazui, Pudong, Shanghai. The Shanghai Tower houses world’s fastest elevators and the world’s highest observation deck within a building. This building can accommodate as many as 16,000 people and it also has parking spaces for 1,800 vehicles.

#1 BURJ KHALIFA, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES – 2717 Feet

Burj Khalifa, initially known as Burj Dubai, is the world’s tallest building with 163 floors and a height of 2,722 feet. This structure has 30,000 residences, 19 residential towers, a man-made lake occupying 30 acres, parkland of 7 acres, 9 hotels and a shopping mall. This is one of the marvelous building ever created in human history.
